White Rock Lake has always been more than a backdrop to our East Dallas community. It’s where we walk, ride, run, gather, watch the wildlife, catch a sunset and sometimes simply find a little room to breathe.

That makes our partnership with White Rock Lake Conservancy(opens in new tab) feel especially close to home.

From August 19 through October 7, 2026, The Gallery at YAM is proud to exhibit the winning photography from the White Rock Lake Conservancy 2026 Photo Contest. Featuring nearly two dozen local photographers, the exhibition explores the lake through wildlife, landscapes, architecture, history and the small moments that make White Rock Lake unmistakably ours.

At YAM, our world has always been bigger than yoga. We created this space around the idea that wellness happens in many ways — through movement, creativity, nature, art and connection with the people and places around us.

White Rock Lake embodies so much of that.

Through this collaboration, we have the opportunity to celebrate local artists while also shining a light on the work of the White Rock Lake Conservancy and the importance of preserving a natural resource that means so much to our community.

Whether you circle the lake every morning or simply know it as one of Dallas’ most treasured places, we hope this exhibition gives you a reason to look again.
